One in person interview with the director. I applied by emailing my resume then after met with HR to complete the process. All in all not too complicated. The process was straightforward.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Weston Public Schools (Weston, MA) in Nov 2014
Interview
A team of approximately 6 people took turns asking questions from a pre-devised list. It didn't feel individualized for each candidate. There were so many interviewers that it was intimidating. what irked me the most was that they took a few weeks to call after the position was posted online, then scheduled the interview on either one of two days a couple weeks later. I would've thought that time was not of the essence except it was as it was a long term sub position for someone going out on maternity leave. Did I mention the interview was on a Friday afternoon and the job was available the following Monday? For some of us who have lives, that period of time was not suffice to make proper arrangements for our current jobs or to arrange childcare. This showed me that Weston Public Schools didn't care much about the pressure they put on their employees.
