I was recently interviewed for the Engagement Manager position at Wisor. The interview lasted about 13 minutes, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The interviewer seemed barely interested in hearing about my background or contributions. Instead, she simply read out the job description which I was already well aware of and appeared distracted, possibly working from home and looking around during the call.
I understand that not every candidate may be the perfect fit, but I don’t believe anyone deserves to be ignored or treated disrespectfully. I’ve worked hard to complete my qualifications, pay off my loans, and build my career. I’m a strong candidate who can truly contribute if given a fair opportunity.
This experience left me quite disheartened. I did not expect such an unprofessional and dismissive approach from a company with an international presence. It certainly reflected poorly on the work culture and recruitment standards.
