Long interview - spoke to 9 interviewers. I have 20 percent experience in the PM area and 80 percent of my background is focused on university recruiting. My aim was moving from UR to purely PM work. The questions that the interviewers asked were heavily tailored to the PM role and PM experience which mine was minimal. I would think they’d ask me questions about my PM experience + questions that would focus on my potential success in the position. A lot of the questions were very repetitive in nature. It was a very frustrating interview because the questions were more geared towards someone with PM experience day to do. The interviewers were very nice and patient.
Also, the recruiter Michael Brown was not very friendly at all. I’ve followed up with him 3 times and each time he’s told me that he would get me an answer on a specific date and did not; neither did he care enough about my experience to offer a specific date that the team would make a decision. This has resulted in a poor candidate experience.
Overall, my experience did not leave a good impression.
