I worked with a recruiter who was fantastic. Communication was quick - everyone was very responsive. The interview process is a bit lengthy, but ran smoothly. The process was:
1. Initial call with hiring manager
2. Take home assignment
3. Virtual on-site - one interview to discuss the take home project, another pair programming interview, and a final round of behavior questions. All told, about 4 hours.
4. Reference checks
5. Offer
Ultimately I declined the offer because joining a start up at this time feels a bit risky. I also got the feeling that people here are stretched pretty thin. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, though.
