Interview began ontime and the interviewers (Hiring Managers) were polite and clear with their questions. Questions were very generic and bland, but for a new position to the district, I suppose that was to be expected. There wasn't very good opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge and abilities for the role due to the questions being asked, at times I didn't feel one interviewer was even slightly interested...
After my interview I was asked to provide a supervisory reference from the position I was still in and I didn't feel comfortable with that, because my employer was unaware of my interviewing for other positions. I am certain this cost me an opportunity in the role. But good riddance.
