The position was in the Zalando Marketing services division. The interview process was incredibly long. Started with a phone interview with talent acquisition person, followed by a meeting department head a week later, followed by task/presentation to be completed at home and presented to department head a week later., followed by HR interview, followed by an interview with another marketing head who could' make it to the previous meeting. When asked about next steps, I was told that once you clear interview with the department head, you will meet few more stakeholders (three if I remember right), then meeting with the team and finally meeting with another head. That's an incredibly long process. You need to mindful of people's time.
The interview with marketing head felt forced, The person came across impassive. Didn't give me an opportunity to ask questions and felt the need to mention why couldn't attend the previous interview meeting. I lost interest halfway during the interview with this person. Shared my feedback with the talent acquisition partner.
