I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Zanbato, Inc. in Jun 2025
Interview
I was internally referred to Zanbato for a business development role covering the EMEA region. The process lasted about three months and included multiple calls and a full platform demo.
From the outset, the role was described as salaried - a $150K base plus commission on executed trades. However, after completing the demo, I was told that my understanding had been a “miscommunication” and that compensation would instead be commission-only, with no base until 'seven figures' in revenue were produced.
For a company that promotes price transparency and integrity in private markets, this shift was disappointing at best. Expecting candidates to work on commission-only terms after presenting a salaried offer is not standard or professional practice.
Everyone I spoke with was courteous and knowledgeable, but I would strongly advise future candidates to confirm compensation terms in writing early in the process.
Pros:
• Smart, professional team
• Innovative product and market positioning
Cons:
• Compensation terms changed late in process
• Lack of transparency on pay structure

Interview
Pretty Fair! Loved the interview process and people there. Got an offer and almost took it but only choose other option because of personal reasons. Very interesting product. Highly recommend! Would love to go back in time and accept this offer
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zanbato, Inc. in Oct 2022
Interview
1 hour Leetcode phone screen followed by 2 hour long technical interviews. There was also a product demo. Interviewers provided lots of hints. I was ghosted after final interview (more than 4 hours time commitment). Very Disappointing.
