Interview process is pretty standard, first round is Skype interview where they ask you 2 coding questions and onsite interview with 9 people. Almost everyone were friendly. However, one of the Interviewer was very rude and unprofessional. She gave me a linked list problem to solve on white board and after few minutes she started talking to her colleague(which was very disturbing). She could not even understand the code and not ready to even let me explain. Also, at end of the interview, she asked me if i had any questions, i asked her if there were any new products coming up. She replied back saying "What kind of a question is that". She represents the company and looks like she has no respect for the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at ZapLabs (Emeryville, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Usual phone screening with basic java questions followed by video call with one of their engineers. In video interview they asked me java programming question which was very easy. Onsite interviews were more algorithm based. You have to practice a lot with java algo questions to crack this interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ZapLabs (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
First Round- Technical recruiter asks some basic java questions
Second Round- An Indian lady, who was totally unprofessional, took my interview. It was coding challenging round and some basic question she asked. I was surprised that how can an experienced engineer took a lot of time to understand a simple code. (I read something bad about her on ZipRealty interview review).
