I applied on Seek and within a few days I recieved an email inviting me to a group interview. I dressed smart - in a Zara beige silk top, black jacket, black Zara jeans and black flats. The group interview had about 20 people in it - most people were dressed very casually. We all sat in a semi circle and had to each one by one stand up introduce ourselves, talk a little about ourselves and explain what our style was. The next task we were split into small groups and given a scenario which we had to act out - a customer comes into the store looking for an item they saw online but it has not arrived in store yet what do you do, a customer goes into the fitting room with 4 items and comes out with 3, a customer has an item that is marked incorrectly on the price tag. After we acted out these scenarios we were each given a question on a card and had to go around the room and answer them, we couldn't read our question until it was our turn. Questions were explain what hard work means to you and give an example, explain a time where you have had conflict with a co-worker how did you resolve it, if you could be any animal which animal would you be and why and explain a time you had with a difficult customer how did you resolve it. After that we were asked if we had any questions - make sure you ask an intelligent question! It shows you are interested in the position and do not ask a question that the interviewer has already answered. The interviewers said they would get back to us by Monday and on Monday I received a call to say I got the job :) I hope this helps and good luck!
