The interview process itself was fairly average and followed the usual structure. It began with an initial conversation with HR, mostly focused on background, experience, and general fit. After that came the discussion with the hiring manager, which went deeper into role expectations, responsibilities, and how my skills aligned with the team’s needs. The final stage was a panel interview, where multiple team members asked questions from different perspectives, making it a more comprehensive evaluation. While the process was straightforward, it did take a considerable amount of time overall. Going through several rounds over the course of one to two months required consistent effort, preparation, and patience. That’s why hearing in the end that the position had been cancelled was particularly disappointing, especially after investing so much time and energy into the process.
