I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zenjob in Aug 2022
Interview
Friendly interview. Straight to the point without initial introductions and usually HR questions. The HR interview went on for like 10 mins. The questions were based on my tech stack
HR late 15 min for the 30-min call and in the rest of the call it was a bit unorganized in terms of questions and clarifying the process. The second meeting was technical. It was cool, but a bit monotonic. The interviewer was a bit too focused on going over fix questions. They've emphasized more than once that they always give detailed feedback and so (transparency & honesty). Later in the process, I got simply an automatic rejection (the one you get when you don't make it to the phone screening) with no clear feedback about the reasons. You feel your time wasn't at all appreciated and they claim something they are not. Anyways, I got other awesome offers and when I think back of it, it was simply a bad interviewing process. Other things the HR did, I found not professional too, like calling multiple times during work time and not communicating with others that you already mentioned a deadline when you will find time to do the tech homework, so you basically look like you are just submitted late. I am also not a big fan of multi-step processes, especially in case of small (startup) companies, it is simply unnecessary. Plus, I got the impression from the interviews that the app seems to have a sophisticated backend, but it has barely any shifts and users count (workers as well as employers) suffers some stagnation.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Zenjob in Sept 2020
Interview
Got told about what to code in the second interview only to get rejected. When asked for further feedback, I was told my seniority was not enough but in the job opportunity company didn't specify seniority.
