interview with HR + 30 min interview with everyone in the data science team + Interview with HR manager. The interview questions are not so technical, and everyone I talked with was super nice.

There were four rounds of interviews. First a typical HR call. Establishing experience and salary expectations. Then an interview with the hiring manager covering the role and what the specific work entails. Then a technical interview with the director. Finally, a technical interview with other data scientists to test your programming, statistics, and data science proficiency. I applied for a senior data scientist position, in the hr call the salary expectations were established and confirmation was made that I met the requirements and the salary range was acceptable. What I got for an offer was a bait and switch. I was offered an associate data science position that was substantially lower than the salary expectations discussed in the first HR interview, making the entire process a waste of everyone's time.
