The interview process is time-consuming. The hiring process consists of 4 rounds:
1. HR round(Day 1)- Enquires about your interest in night shifts. Discusses your hobbies mentioned in CV. What you know about their company(visit their website once). Communication skills in what they look in you and your attitude.
2. Written test(Day 1)- Since I applied for the position of selenium(java) tester, the test consisted of purely selenium questions of medium difficulty. Most of them being scenario based questions on how to find the XPath, CSS, dropdown etc.
3. Technical f2f round(Day 2)- Expect questions from almost everything from your CV. Should be able to explain the framework you are working on or previously worked with. I was asked real time scenario based questions on Selenium webdriver, TestNG and JAVA(core java/OOPs). Be thorough with TestNG annotations and reporting part. Explain JAVA questions using real-time selenium examples. Also be thorough with exception handling in JAVA(java exceptions, not selenium).
4. Manager round(Day 2)- Maintain good communication throughout. Be confident in what you say. Never speak about something you cannot explain. Don't expect anything technical. The manager will speak about how the work is done there. About the shifts and what you are expected to do.
