I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Billund) in Apr 2024
Interview
It was very transparent and smooth. The recruiter was in contact with at each step of the interview process and have shared all the needed details in advance, Interview meetings were booked ahead of time. First two rounds were online and the last technical round was face to face.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
The process took ~6 weeks and included a friendly HR screen, a technical pair-programming session with a senior engineer, a conversation with a director, a panel with lead engineers, and a final presentation to a director on an assigned mini-project.
Everyone I met was kind, professional, and communicative, with mostly clear expectations. The process was very long and intensive, and I’d rate the difficulty above average. I didn’t receive an offer but found it a useful, respectful experience overall.
The time commitment is substantial and could be hard if you’re already in a demanding job or under time/financial pressure while between roles. Clearer upfront guidance on expected hours and consolidating a round or two would make this more accessible.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at the LEGO Group
Interview
The interview process consisted of three interviews. First, a screening interview with an HR representative. This was followed by a regular interview. Third, an interview focused on a case supplied prior to the interview. The case was broad and covered most aspects of building software applications to solve a specific business problem, such as UI, data, architecture, and business value concerns.
