I received an email after I applied to an anonymous CraigsList ad. I was given an editing test before they proceeded with the job offer. Everything was done via e-mail and I never spoke or met with anyone in person.

Question 1
There were no questions per se, but I had to complete an online editing text.
Pretty straightforward — a call with a project manager, a paid test. Seems like they generally want to move fast here. I found everyone responsive. The test was similar to the work of the job itself.
the process was a phone screen, homework, on-site (which included a live homework assignment). the homework was onerous (rewriting 6 blog posts) and i found the live homework assignment to be very strange and unclear. there was no opportunity to talk about the work, just a 90 minute timeframe to complete several assignments. not worth it for the salary offered.
