    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 4Com (Bournemouth, England) in December 2019.

    Interview

From initial communication to interview process took a couple off weeks.

Initially applied for another role and had a telephone interview which lasted around 20 mins or so....was then invited in for a face to face interview with the hiring manager. Out of the blue I was sent an email advising me of another role more suited to me so discussed role over the phone and agreed a date to go in to speak to hiring manager. I felt the interview was mediocre and they spent all their time making me sell myself rather than them trying to sell themselves to me which is how an interview should be conducted. They spent more time asking me what good things I know about them rather than anything else. The questions I was asked were bog standard questions. The interview seemed very rushed and was told I will hear back very soon. Received an email a few days later advising me that I was unsuccessful....this annoyed me as not only was I led to believe the role was mine, I missed out on another role in the business as I was encouraged to apply for the new role available.

Complete waste of mine and their time really!
