Our story
Cryptio was founded in 2018 by Antoine Scalia. At a time when the market was quiet and much of the industry was chasing hype, he saw a different opportunity: build the financial infrastructure institutions needed to adopt digital assets with confidence.
From the first lines of code to today, that conviction has guided us. Cryptio has grown from a small team of engineers into a global company of more than 100 people across the UK, France, US, Sweden, Poland, Brazil, and Canada.
The problem
Institutions wanted to enter the crypto economy. But they couldn’t do it without:
