Description FirstCare Ltd is an absence management and well-being provider for both the public and private sector. Absences are reduced in our client’s organisations by providing detailed, accurate absence recording and reporting along with health advice from a team of qualified nurses.
This relatively new approach to absence management has proven to create significant cost savings for organisations, while also providing a valued employee benefit.
Once an organisation joins the FirstCare service, their employees are required to call our call centre to log their absence from work. Automatic notifications are then sent to the line manager informing them of the details of the absence.
As a result, we currently maintain the UK’s most extensive database on absence, covering 185,000 employees, and we’ve recorded over 13.1 million absences to date. We work with organisations ranging from NHS trusts to blue-chip companies and the Health and Safety Executive to provide insight and improve standards.
