  1. Marketing Lead B2B Interview

    Difficult Interview
    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flock (Germany)

    Interview

First I was contacted via recruiter then I had an almost 1 hour long interview with the current marketing lead.

Then I was asked to prepare a ridiculously extensive presentation (which I should have denied, but I was interested in a role so decided to bite the bullet). It essentially felt like they were asking to lay out entire strategy for two of their products.

The person I spoke to the most, employed 'grilling strategy' and most of the time I felt like I had to defend everything I said and it put me in a defensive mode. They were asking questions to which they didn't know the answers to, nor did they know what were they expecting.

The whole process left a sour taste in my mouth and I was very discouraged from joining the company.
    Interview

    - If there's a lot of pressure from the company to close a deal what would you do (sic!)
