Description Mindful Chef started in the summer of 2015 with one mission - to make healthy eating easy. We realised that the easiest way to help people make healthier choices was to deliver them all the ingredients they need to cook a delicious, healthy meal together with a recipe card.
In 2018, we were the first recipe box company to become a certified Better Corporation (B-Corp), joining a collective of like minded businesses committed to balancing profits with people and the planet.
By January 2019, we were shipping 8,500 boxes of healthy food a week. Piper Private Equity invested £6 million in the business to keep us growing fast. Since then we have expanded our range to include chef-prepared frozen meals, smoothies and broths. As of the beginning of 2021 we are shipping 42,000 boxes per week across our subscription and frozen range.
We are now embarking on our next exciting chapter and welcome Nestlé, one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, as our new partner. Working with Nestlé will help us realise our vision in a very competitive and challenging industry and help bring Mindful Chef’s mission of making healthy eating easy to thousands more people.
