The company is a leading provider of facilities-based residential and business competitive wireline telecommunications services in France, including Internet access. Neuf Cegetel has more than 4 million residential subscribers of which about 3 million are also broadband Internet customers. Most revenues come from providing enterprise communications services and wholesale services to the sale of network access. SFR, a wireless communications joint venture between Vivendi and Vodafone Group, owns more than two-thirds of Neuf Cegetel.
