Established in 2011, Principal Insurance are a fast-growing specialist insurance group offering an extensive range of motorcycle, car, van, home and business policies.
Based in Manchester, we were founded by Managing Director Dave Bowcock, a highly experienced insurance industry executive who spent the previous 14 years working within the specialist motorcycle insurance UK sector.
Having secured extensive boardroom experience, Dave decided it was time to invest his expertise in a new service-led business. A business that offered a fresh approach to insurance: Principal.
Over 40,000 policyholders, 130+ staff, three offices
In 2014, having successfully established the business and looking to maintain a strong growth pattern – our premium income had by then soared to £3.3m.
We now serve over 40,000 policyholders, employ over 130 staff and arrange policies worth over £10m annually.
