Rambler could mean Google in Russian. Through its Russian language Web site, Rambler Media offers news and entertainment, search, and e-mail services. Other sites offer news publishing (Lenta.ru), product comparisons (Price.ru), and instant messaging. Rambler gets most of its revenues from advertising, paid search, e-commerce referrals, and product placement; customers come from the auto, bank, retail, and telecom markets. The company, which has an audience of more than 45 million unique users per month, has an agreement with Google to display ads on its homepage and search results pages. Russian media holding group Prof-Media owns more than half of Rambler.
