Service Life and Casualty Insurance, which does business as Service Group, is driven in more ways than one. The company offers credit and gap loss insurance to consumers through automotive dealers in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas. Through sister firm Service Lloyds Insurance, the company also provides workers' compensation coverage to auto dealers in Texas. It issues vehicle service contracts through an affiliation with warranty provider United Service Protection. Service Life and Casualty writes and sells products directly and through a network of independent agents and managing general agents. The Service Group companies are controlled by the founding Gray family.
