Pros

Great building (recently refurbished), good clients and good spirit -people genuinely care for each other. Gentle atmosphere. Very good pay and benefits.

Cons

Basically a USA business now and uk takes all direction from NYC office. Hq is in NYC now and leadership style different now. Global transfers one way only (NYC to London). The management team lacking spirit since some key people "left" . Sleepy and lacking in edge now - can't describe it but lack of edge/fight left

Pros

great projects, incredibly smart AND nice people (most of them) fantastic communications and knowledge sharing, the wiki on everything you need to know to be successful is the best ever

Cons

some partners drive the business incredibly hard-nosed and hard hitting, the company imploded from 350 to 150 employees and the aftermath still feels

Pros

The benefits are the really great but the people (most, not all) are wonderful. (This needs to be a minimum of 20 words)

Cons

Management is suffocating any momentum or turnaround. One bad decision after another. One failed initiative after another. Just recently they launched a new website - so so bad. 2 weeks later they reload the old one. I've lost count of the amount of times the business has changed it's strapline, re-evaluated it's 'purpose statement' or redesigned the office...It signals problems when a business has such an identity crisis! It has lost its way, lost its uniqueness and lost its edge. Owners seem tired but being the major shareholders are reluctant to loosen their grip on the reins - it is after all their legacy and retirement pot they're trying to save. You will meet great people but the other ones will remind you why you need to leave, for the sake of your career and happiness.
