Pros

A chance for inexperienced production staff to learn on the job and earn very well at the same time. Majority of the production team are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Casual racism, particularly towards people from South East Asia. Not outright discrimination, but jokes centred around clients and colleagues ethnicities are not uncommon amongst senior staff. Awful onboarding process Lack of support for staff from regional and senior management in the face of issues. Instead a blame culture exists, so when things go wrong, you're thrown under the bus. Lack of appreciation for the work of the production staff, despite the company being largely dependent on repeat business, which is won by the production team delivering... Serial hiring of under qualified staff Complete lack of HR department Pensions - they will promise you a pension that will never turn up, even though it's in your contract. You will ask repeatedly and be ignored or fobbed off with an excuse Ridiculous production 'targets' that bear no relation to the reality of production work, but you will be publicly shamed for not meeting them. You'll be micro-managed to within an inch of your life

Pros

You will make friends. The product idea is good.

Cons

Senior management in the UK are inexperienced and do not offer any support to local sales teams. There is a severe lack of communication and disconnect between senior management and the staff on the 'shop-floor. Responsibility of senior management seems to be passed straight onto shop-floor staff and this creates large amounts of stress and pressure. Staff turnover is very high, it is highly unusual to see anyone last more than a year. Be prepared to be micro-managed and do not expect to be rewarded fairly. Salaries are below-market rates and there are no annual reviews. There are no benefits at all (a 1% pension cont.) and only 20 days holiday which is what you'll need each quarter to deal with the mental stress you'll be needing to cope with. The commission structure is terrbile, for overachievers you actualy start earning less per $1 than you do for being just shy of target. You'll be lucky to take home 1% of revenue with an 80% threshold on a monthly target which will be plucked from thin air. Career Opportunities? None. This company is attemtping to shift all human responsbility onto it's automated platform, there are very basic business development roles (100% cold calling) and producer roles (which are never on-site).
