      Over promised and significantly under delivered

      Pros

      The biggest plus is that I am largely left to my own devices. I do not have a high level of interaction with Acando staff on a day to day basis.

      Cons

      The company is selling itself as a Project Management consultancy however the reality is that the consultants are body shopped out as contract resources. There is very little in terms of consultancy skills or offerings within the organisation

      Pros

      Left on your own to get on with it. Most of the project you are given are the projects that the client does not want to do so you are always in a lose, lose projects So if you always like losing than maybe Acando UK is for you.

      Cons

      No Management involvement, Management do not understand the market, Body shop, acts like an agency, no benefits , no hr involvement, in at the deep-end with clients

      Pros

      Experienced colleagues with a diverse background. Well established name in the field. Projects or assignments are usually high profile.

      Cons

      No-one ever seems to look beyond the scope of this week or this month. Fail one time and you're a bad employee. Management is basically invisible and only involved with sales. Big organizational changes are communicated right before a big holiday, without sufficient details. "By the way, everything about your job is about to change, so have a Merry Christmas!" Extremely cheap with training and development of consultants. Compensation and benfits are well below competitors.
