Pros

There remains a handful of hardworking, talented and enjoyable people to work with.

Cons

The company has noticeably been a revolving door over the past year. Leadership refuses to acknowledge the problem and has brushed under the rug several significant and unexpected resignations by executives in recent months. Lack of experience, ego, and poor management at the top is the problem. Accountability would help, but instead a narrative is spun and sugar coated into an idea that somehow the company is better off. Tech is innovative but products gain little traction due constant shifting of strategies, impulsive decision-making and distrust in employees' abilities to do their jobs. I would encourage anyone interviewing to look into employee turnover and ask why. It’s resulted in a small group of individuals at the top who are incapable of pushing back on a management style that has been a major cause for the company's problems.

Thank you for your feedback and advice. Everyone who succeeds at Accrete is talented, mission driven, and hard working which is Accrete’s culture. Accrete spends a lot of time consciously optimizing its non-regrettable attrition rate to maintain a culture of excellence. Accrete routinely prunes under-performers based on quantitative metrics, peer review, and qualitative measures like attitude and the ability to take constructive feedback. Accrete is extremely proud of its incredible culture, game changing products, and explosive growth. We are sorry that your employment with Accrete did not work out. As a company we are very open to feedback and take any criticism seriously, so we really appreciate your thoughts.

Pros

The great part about Accrete is given the lack of structure, strategy, and overall competence of the leadership team, one can breeze by doing very little work.

Cons

As the headline suggests, they can't even do the bad things right. They ran an internal project to have employees post nothing but positive reviews but one would think that 100% ratings is actually a red flag, but given the lack of experience and overall lack of professional competencies of the leadership, they don't have the ability to see why this would be a flag. Churn rate is extremely high. For those interviewing, I suggest to uncover the tenure of employees...uncover how many actual paying customers there are...find the answer to "how is it a company with very little traction selling multi-products?"...try to understand why the company lists all employees on the website...and how do they raise funds?

Pros

The recent negative reviews indicate that there are a few employees left that are finally willing to stand up for what is right and to be honest about the state of affairs. This is now encouraging others that were once silenced to have the strength to speak their minds.

Cons

The CEO's micromanaging tendencies have created a stifling atmosphere where employees are unable to exercise their creativity or make decisions autonomously. Every task is scrutinized, every action questioned, and every initiative micromanaged to the point of paralysis. This approach, rather than fostering productivity, has led to a culture of fear and anxiety, where employees are more concerned with avoiding reprimand than with innovation or excellence. Morale within the organization is at an all-time low, with employees feeling undervalued, demotivated, and ultimately disposable. Talented individuals are fleeing in droves, seeking new environments where their skills are respected and their contributions acknowledged. The turnover rate is staggering. The consequences of the CEO's micromanagement extend beyond the immediate loss of personnel. Productivity has plummeted as employees now struggle to perform even the most basic tasks efficiently due to the CEO's lack of vision and inability to trust. Employees are discouraged from taking risks or thinking outside the box, rather, they are threatened to conform to the CEO's line of thinking and last minute fire drills... or will face being let go or black balled in the company. Due to C-Suite Execs being unwilling to work with the CEO, a new OCEO has been created. This OCEO consists of elevating unqualified individuals and corporate yes men (and women) that act as the eyes and ears for the CEO. Due to their lack of experience, they are hindering progress and exacerbating existing challenges. When presented with actual challenges, OCEO's only skill is throwing corporate jargon at the wall and hoping it sticks. Their real speciality is asking how they can "support the individual" without any intention to fix it, but the line is especially drawn when the support stems from a need for OCEO to challenge the CEO. Senior leadership is becoming known for disrespecting and letting go of tenured employees, of which dedicated years to the organization, that have chosen to voice their concerns over the downward trend the company is going and those that desire a better checks and balances system for the CEO. By silencing voices of conscience, they've not only lost valuable employees but also take intentional steps to tarnish and disrespect the reputation of faithful employees. Unless drastic changes are made, including a shift towards trust, empowerment, and delegation, the company is set on a fast-pace course with irrelevance and failure. It's time for the CEO to step aside, for OCEO to be disbanded, and embrace a new trusting leadership with qualified employees at the helm before it's too late.

Thank you for your feedback and advice despite the inaccuracies. For the record, Accrete has never missed a payroll in its history. In terms of micromanagement, yes we are super excited about the ramp in the growth the company is witnessing. As we scale there is always the fine line of how much upper management gets involved in the weeds, however, we are obsessed about getting it right and injecting lots of energy and excitement into the process. As the company continues to scale and grow, we continue to bring on more and more managerial support underneath the CEO’s office which we have already gotten very positive feedback on. We are sorry that your employment with Accrete did not work out. As a company we are very open to feedback and take any criticism seriously, so we really appreciate your thoughts.
