Pros

Not much good to say. Bunch of bean counters. Manage by threats......intimidation and fear. Company culture SUCKS. The resident are good people worthy of care.

Cons

Again.... see above. Their philosophy is everyone is expendable. If you don't like it....they find someone else. NEVER A COMPLIMENT. NASTY place to work.

Not Good All Around

Pros

There is nothing positive I can say about this company.

Cons

If you are a professional looking for a position, do not look for one with this company. I did not chose to work for them, they bought out the company I worked for and I shortly was working for them after. The CFO, CEO and COO will only be seen when they buy your company, other than that you will never see them step foot in a center to see what the daily operations are or to actually witness what goes on in these centers. Of the few center directors I had contact with, they all complained about their position and the pressure put on them for increasing their "census, census, census". This company really is only about the dollar and not the service they are suppose to provide to their clients. I have seen staff walk all over their directors, and not be disciplined. Mixed populations of the clients they serve, when there should be separate programs. They do not appreciate or recognize staff and their health benefits are awful and pointless leaving employees with low pay to pay for high out of pocket costs. I have seen the way the top honchos spoke to their directors and it was awful to see where their mind really is only on the care.

Center Director

Pros

The population that is served made it wonderful to come to work every day!

Cons

Upper Management was always interested in the numbers of clients in attendence each day which simply undermined the ability of center directors to be successful. They would reduced staff, reduce the number of vehicles to pick up clients, reduce $ for supplies to provide adequate activities and expected us to increase our daily attendence numbers. Due to such mismanagement the clients are often put in unsafe situations which creates a lot of turn over with the hands on staff and then upper management blames the center director for not being able to retain staff. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. I was employed there for 7 years so I am speaking from experience and I saw the same thing replicate itself over time at all their locations!
