Pros

Some positive reviews I read above seem unusually similar and may not reflect actual employee experiences.

Cons

-Highly toxic leadership and culture, especially from top management -Verbal abuse, intimidation, and emotional manipulation are common -Exit process includes threats, unrealistic demands, and withholding of documents -Extreme micromanagement and unrealistic expectations during and after notice period -More than half of the employees left the company in the same year. -No clear vision even after nearly a decade of operations

Pros

Wide exposure to learning and experimenting.

Cons

Issues with Leadership and Work Culture 1. Toxic Leadership by the CEO The CEO rules by fear. One-on-ones during her India visits are not supportive but threatening, especially if employees consider leaving. Feedback is not tolerated; even raising one issue results in being blamed for everything. I have personally witnessed colleagues cry after such sessions. 2. Irresponsible CTO The CTO avoids accountability and frequently blames the team for his own failures. This has led to frustration and demoralization among employees. 3. Unprofessional Treatment of Departing Employees Both CEO and CTO bad-mouth every employee who resigns. No one receives a proper farewell; departures are disguised as “terminations.” In a startup of fewer than 30 employees, 15–20 have already left in just 3 years – a turnover rate that speaks volumes. 4. Baseless Accusations Current and former employees are regularly accused of “leaking data” without any proof. It is ironic that a company offering “risk management” cannot manage its own internal data securely. 5. Compliance and Payroll Issues No proper payslips are provided. The company lacks a GST number and proper compliance setup, which directly impacted me when my loan application was rejected. This reflects extremely unprofessional and unreliable financial practices. 6. Threats During Resignation When I attempted to discuss my resignation, I was threatened with false accusations and told my career would be harmed. No employee should ever feel unsafe or intimidated when leaving a company. 7. Broken Policies and Lack of Transparency Leave policies are ignored. Transparency is nonexistent. Leadership consistently shows a lack of respect toward employees.

Pros

You get to learn about their industry and try to solve difficult problems. Alternate Friday lunches. Great and talented team members except a few.

Cons

A lot actually. In the starting things were fine, but soon their environment became very toxic. In joining letter they will promise you that will take top performer to foreign trips and quarterly outing. Nothing happens here. They make you work after office hours with no compensation. Make you beg for leaves even for sick leaves. The management try a lot to build fear among the team members and use them as literal slaves for the company. They will even call hospital to check if you really were sick for taking sick leaves. The management is paranoid of people stealing their data. They will ask employees to snitch on each other and deliberately accuse people once they have stayed too long in the company. They will hire you and slowly make you hire a subordinate and ask you to train them then remove you saying you did something wrong. They publically call out names of previous employees whom I know personally have done nothing wrong to be called thieves for stealing data from them. The CEO is reluctant to get his company registered in india. They will give a bunch of aadhar card excuses but won't stay in india for more than 6 months to get it done. Too much favouritism. There are few people that management will listen to and respect but for the rest of us they will just treat us like our work has no meaning. They even got kicked out of office space and now working from a very claustrophobic room that has no ventilation. CEOs have created a fake image of being empathetic but get their all the dirty work done by the manager. They will pressurise me to force the team to work overtime and what not.
