Pros

The great thing about AirTanker is how close you work with your customer and your key suppliers - there is a very strong sense of community. The purpose of the company is very clear and employees are a very motivated and enthusiastic team who all want to do a great job for the customer. The blend of military and civilian experience makes this an exciting and innovative company to work for.

Cons

As a relatively young company its business processes are still maturing, so this company would not be a good fit for you if you need clear and detailed processes to follow at all times.

Pros

- The salary is decent compared to other companies

Cons

- Senior managers way out of their depth with no idea how to operate the company - Petty investigations for every move you make - Bullying is the norm - Sexual harassment of crew is acceptable - Awful rostering - Delays! endless amounts of them (24h delays over fixing an issue is the preference)

Pros

Offers job security within the airline sector.

Cons

A fantastic facade, however, a very frustrating place to work behind the scenes. To many managers, trying to micro-manage, that are not open to fresh ideas and individuals that are unfortunately stuck within their military mentality. A lot of time working away, with very little overtime benefits in return. Accommodation can be extremely poor, whilst away on company military business. Nepotism is extremely rife, so unless you have a previous military working relationship with your superiors, personnel development is none existent.
