Pros

A lot of opportunity to learn on the job (challenging projects), solid lower management, solid pay, depending on the position, there can be really good and inspiring people to work with

Cons

The culture of overworking (even if officially they state otherwise), work-life balance is a myth and people working over 10-12 hours is very common, company culture that's not oriented on people in any way and only on results and pushing yourself to the limit, chaos in processes and tools, untrustworthy Exec Team, very hierarchical structure where your career level directly usually determines your worth and where the CEO is like a king, higher management and ET usually not listening to employee's needs and making changes that are not desired or sometimes even harmful, benefits aren't that great

Pros

- great people on lower career levels up to team leaders and regular product managers, - pace of work that leaves room for skill development and does not push people into burnout; most of the time there is enough time to put quality into solutions instead of pushing as many tasks as possible, - this is not a place for people who treat their tasks with tunnel vision and think that they work in vacuum, which is a big plus in my opinion, - up to date tooling and stack,

Cons

- what was once culture of open communication became culture of "we hear you, but we don't care", - decisions are data driven, unless data is not confirming gut feeling of upper management, - RTO policy forced onto Tech without any backing data, despite we've asked for last few years for numbers that confirm that WFH is hurting company, - managerial chaos on middle and upper management levels and spreadsheet-driven decision making that impacts work culture in the long run, yet execs still are trying to find out "why work culture is degrading",
