Pros

(More of a pro-con list) in Cambridge: - The international atmosphere... but you can tell people are not satisfied with their jobs. Otherwise why would they keep quitting? Just because "they miss their families", as management keep telling themselves? - Cambridge is a beautiful place to live, but the housing is crazy expensive, TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION when discussing the SALARY. - Operations does a fair amount of training and you will leave the company mastering memoQ.

Cons

-The management is TERRIBLE, they don't value their employees at all and they openly pay men more than women. I've heard them saying awful things about their employees. If someone stays for years, instead of valuing them, they wonder why someone would stay so long and they want to get rid of them because they don't want to pay SENIOR SALARIES. -Forget about salary raises. (Employee recognition is overrated, uh?) -Their flexibility with conditions, time hours and salaries depend on the person who asks, there's no written protocol for lots of things. -Sales team approach consists of saying yes to the client to everything and someone else will cope with the consequences (preferably a PM). - Stressing out the translators with productivity does not make them more productive. Paying them fairly and timely works better. - They have massive layoffs and afterwards they focus on hiring juniors.

Pros

International atmosphere . . . . . . . . . . . .

Cons

Its resilience to freelancer payment pressure is legendary. Payment period is minimum 6 months, and stretches to 1+ year. They have mastered this art through 20+ years of experience in successfully p***ing off every freelancer who is caught in their net - please ask any freelancer who has ever worked with them to validate my claim. HR is non-existent. Recruitment process is shambolic. Salary is below average and not structured. Career path - sorry, the road is under construction. Salary reviews - hardly happens. Company Vision is not shared - cause there is none. Most of all, the management lies all the time.

Pros

Flexitime, multicultural, possibility to work from home from time to time.

Cons

Not sure from where to start, there are so many. HR consists of one person, who is not well experienced, also when this person goes on holidays, there is no HR for the time being. No career progression at all. Management most of the time don't have a clue of what's happening, and if they do, they wont share any info. No professionalism, they lie to both clients and employers. They bring clients to the office saying they have a dedicated team just for them, when in fact the team is dedicated to another client, and ask the employers to do not mention that to the clients. Promise that will deliver work only to get more clients but without checking if it doable or not. .Lets say you are a German tester, they will expect you to log bugs in Chinese or any other languages, apart from your native language as well. Salaries are constantly delayed and freelancers don't get paid. You can send endless emails asking for info about your payment and they will all be ignored. They don't follow any rules when it comes to disciplinary measures and will fire and replace you doesn't matter how long you are working for them, since the upper management only see you as a disposable resource and don't value you as an individual. Basically if you are looking for a place where your salary will remain the same, don't care if your hard work is recognized and don't have any career ambitious, this is definitely the right fit for you
