During my time at Altanova, it always seemed that the company struggled to articulate what exactly they do or a set identity outside of the word "sustainability". Even then, not all of the project work necessarily concerned "sustainability". Employees should be able to give a 30-second elevator pitch to explain to someone what a company does, there wasn't one and that reflected in the business.
Management needs to double down on creating a set, achievable vision or identity for the company to grow. Because there are so many smart people involved in the company, discussions routinely went on on for hours without takeaway or follow through. Also, while I think the large workspace is great - the building housing the office and the office space itself sometimes left a lot to be desired.
