Pros

Management is very supportive and encourages opportunity and teamwork. Fantastic benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, profit sharing and ESOP). Many lifelong, loyal employees. Very ethical family owned company. Employees all really respect the Keeler family. The company likes to grow talent from within, so there is a lot of promotional opportunities. Wide variety of people and jobs at all levels (varying from entry level to highly technical positions).

Cons

the location is not the best.

Pros

Most people are helpul to other employees, and care about their jobs.

Cons

Being preached at by a highly religious member of management. If you are religious, then you'll get along fine.

Pros

once was a great company to work for under the original family owners. good benefits Original owner was kind caring good hearted man

Cons

owners sons gave up company to "employee owned" since they formed a "committee" to oversee the improvement of both facilities smaller location Oxnard has been going down hill products are made poorly, causing dip in business causing additional stress to employees. management has bo empathy for employees. reviews and raises were frozen. no company morale, very sad place to work for. employees are overworked and stressed out with very little compensation. poor paying job, starting employees at min wage for hard labor. management gets by with false promises and lies to employees very secretive work environment, no open communication

Pros

Strong company, market leader. Good location, good people to work with in many departments. Average 401K, fairly easygoing atmosphere, competitive pay. Family ownership.

Cons

Big change since passing of Phil---now dealing with 2nd generation owners who don't have the empathy of the founder. Seems like folks who haven't had to ever look for a job--it's just typical of 2nd/3rd generation owners--a bit out of touch. Young management, tough to advance--lots of competition. Family ownership.

Pros

Medical, dental, vision benefits at a reasonable rate. Some fellow co-workers suffering with you were pleasant to be around. Company makes exceptional products for the industry.

Cons

Management wants to change vision of organization but doesn't implement any rules - too many favorites got away with lower productivity, some had no sense of urgency with work. Low pay especially for the amount of daily stress. High turnover in the office (don't fall for the we are family type of office, I have been here 20+years, they have been there for that amount of time because they are incapable of finding a new job).

Pros

Don't have any to share

Cons

Aluminum Precision Products has been in business as a privately held company for many years and has had little turnover in management. Management is not always fair to all employees and demonstrate lots of favoritism among employees. If you do not become part of their group you will eventually start feeling like an outcast. I would not recommend working at Aluminum Precision Products.

Pros

-Good place to get your foot in the door for maintenance mechanic

Cons

-Lie about providing tools!! -Lie about your wages, if you counter offer they will ask to revisit your wages after 90 days and will not give you the amount you want. -Long hours, 58 hour weeks 6 days, no work life balance -Place is absolutely dirty and outdated -Takes 2-3 weeks to get hired and another 2-3 weeks to get uniforms, prepare for your personal clothes to get oily! -Machines are outdated and not properly PM so they constantly break -Understaffed, when I work there there was about 6 guys trying to maintain all the machines, and there is a ton of machines. -Management doesn't disperse work properly so a lot of people will hide if they are not told what to do. -Constantly ordering wrong parts and then being forced to make those parts work. -They like to brag that the company is on track to become employee owned, and that you can retire a millionaire. This isn't the case, the company is employee owned, but bought the company from the owners for way more than its worth. -Health Insurance is cheap, but good luck finding a provider or setting it up, most doctors cant find the insurance.
