I worked at Amec Foster Wheeler full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Amec foster wheeler was quite a pleasant company to work for. Relatively low pressure and with good support from the senior leadership team.

    Cons

Not many cons to speak of. Perhaps just that there were quite a lot of junior staff when compared to the workload.

    Advice to Management

None really. I thought they were doing quite a good job. It might have been nice if there was a bit more opportunity to move between the Amec foster wheeler global sites.

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Amec Foster Wheeler full-time

    Pros

The salary was good straight from university. Many other graduates made for a fun atmosphere during lunch Some employees were very knowledgeable in their field.

    Cons

Whether you get relevant experience is dependant on the project you work on. A culture of not sharing knowledge amongst older employees. Old fashioned company structure and attitude. The office was embarrassing. Outdated, uncomfortable, uninspiring
