The atmosphere in the office is uncomfortable and feels toxic. It is not a collaborative or supportive environment. It feels very judgmental and "cliquey," making it difficult to feel settled or safe in your role. The picture painted during the interview process does not match the reality of working here. The expectations placed on employees are unclear and seem to change on a whim. What is promised regarding support and development is simply not delivered. Leadership lacks empathy and professionalism. It is a "sink or swim" environment where management is quick to find fault rather than offer guidance. There is a distinct lack of communication and organisation from the top down. I was hired, and it was clear that my line manager didn't even have an onboarding plan. The internal culture is deeply uncomfortable. It feels like a surveillance state where colleagues report on each other rather than support each other. Simple, innocent questions are treated with paranoia and innocent comments are twisted and used against you by management. There is no psychological safety here. Management pays lip service to being "flexible," but in reality, they are hostile toward any personal responsibilities or emergencies. Empathy is completely lacking in the leadership team. Think carefully before applying. This is not a place that values its staff or invests in their growth. If you are looking for a professional, structured, and positive workplace, this is not it.
