Pros

There really aren't any anymore.

Cons

HR are the worst I have ever encountered, they have repeatedly got my salary wrong and therefore all of my overtime and standby time was calculated at an incorrect rate (this is not just me but many of my other colleagues as well). They sack people at random for no good reason and with no explanation. All of a sudden someone will suddenly "leave the business" usually on a random weekday and with absolutely no explanation - this is absolutely terrible for morale and not the way to go about doing business. Team building events are useless when there is no camaraderie to begin with and everyone just sits there perpetually in a state of zombie-ism with a blank look on their faces. People are genuinely unhelpful and rude - and the only way to escape this is to work remotely which is something that they are cutting down on. Sudden U-Turns on business policies - for example, many competent members of staff who used to work remotely have been sacked recently simply because they work remotely. It has had absolutely nothing to do with skill or work ethic and this has left us greatly understaffed.

London office specific: nice company, unfair management.

Pros

Good working hours. Flexible working arrangements for some. Nice office Open door policy Nice and quick interview process Majority of staff are nice and friendly SVP's are very easy to talk to

Cons

-2 month notice periods for employees to leave are not the norm, especially when the company only has to give you 1 month. - The benefit system is very basic and not competitive. - No progression and lack of salary incentive. - HR's presence is lacking. - A very unwelcoming office atmosphere with some genuinely nice people that are overshadowed by the gossiping of others. - Certain individuals in the company are extremely rude, difficult to work with and can be highly unprofessional and hostile. I have often felt unnerved at hearing how some staff members have been treated by those who run the office, I have witnessed first hand a manager unlocking lockers/desk drawers and snooping. This type of behavior shouldn't but sadly (in my experience) goes unnoticed.

Pros

Amazing people, mind blowing products that put us waaaaaaay ahead of the competition, overseas travel, Sweden, California, Germany, to name but a few. New comfortable, well designed offices, regular social activity. Everyone has a voice and is encouraged to use it, making us all feel we are part of the products we develop.

Cons

So much social activity, an oldie like me has trouble keeping up with the young ones.. It is a real work hard play hard environment! Not really a con, I know, but there really isn't anything I can fault the company on.
