Pros

- Ability to do top-end consulting work for legal teams at F100 companies (and other clients); good set-up for top MBA (M7) and JD (T10) programs - Ability to work remotely, with only occasional client/conference travel - Flexibility offered in work hours, particularly for strong/established performers - High level of ownership, and ability to contribute to many different parts of firm; meritocratic; opportunities for quick promotion/leadership for strong performers

Cons

- Small (though high-performing) firm, so opportunities to meet/socialize with others in industry come more through client engagement, conferences, etc. - Less client travel then at large strategy consulting firms (primarily due to nature of work; engagement with corporate legal clients is more often remote)

Pros

The environment at the firm is very open and entrepreneurial. Even as a junior person you'll quickly get a sense of how consulting functions as a business. If you are self-motivated, reliable, and willing to take ownership of your work, you'll be receive additional responsibility very rapidly. The ability to learn quickly is also a real asset as there's a lot to understand about the ins and outs of corporate legal departments. Deadlines can come quickly and require you to work outside normal hours, but in general there was also a lot of flexibility in terms of when you work and taking time off. You'll be exposed to fantastic clients (think industry leaders), and smart yet very chill co-workers.

Cons

There's not a lot of handholding and you'll sometimes have to set your own processes for doing things which might not be for everyone. Don't expect lengthy trainings on tasks before you start needing to complete them. Sometimes you'll have tasks that are tedious or administrative but necessary for the project.
