Pros

Some people can be late every day without repercussions. You get old, used, or defective candles for free.

Cons

Step right up folks to the greatest debauchery of so-called “business.” Watch your back, sides, and front at all times. You don’t want to get bs all over your attire, but then again, you won’t be able to duck fast enough to avoid the crap thrown your way. Tickets for no raises on your left. Tickets for no bonuses and no parking on your right. Let’s start with the owners, shall we? Under this spotlight, we have 1 male who walks around like he created Adam and Eve. He curses, yells, and disrespects the employees to no end. Under this spotlight we have 1 female who doesn’t quite understand things explained to her numerous times, succumbs to the male owner’s beck and call and treats her dog better than the employees that work for her. Show up for work on your first day and observe how confused everyone is because they didn’t know you were supposed to start. Sit at your empty desk with no computer and no email setup because no one bothered to prepare. Be trained by people who started working 1-4 weeks before you. Discover 4 out of 5 people don’t have answers to help you because everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Managers come and go whenever they want and for sure do less work than those that are present for more than 8hrs. Have your choice of either working in the Sahara desert of heat, the Igloo on the opposite side, or Dustville in the back where no one has cleaned in years. The salespeople get the majority of attention, and even then, they never make enough for the company. Whatever amount you sell, they ask why didn’t you sell more. If you spoke to 50 potential clients this week, they would say you should have spoken to 100. All other workers, those being the ones that actually produce the products, package them, ship them, design them, market them, and handle disrespectful human beings on the phone while providing customer service get treated as though they should be thankful to rub 2 nickels together. They get paid beans and are required to work long hours including weekends. We’ve got a question over here. Go ahead. Shoot. What about reviews, bonuses, and raises? Smiling ahh the inquiries of hope, the future, and commonalities amongst reputable businesses. Remember where you are folks and to use the tickets that you received at the door. Under the red archway, you can use your free coupons to not get a review and your no raise and no bonus tickets can be used at any time during your stay here, even years. Your bonuses and raises will be spent on dried up pizza, random parties/lunches, and the Louis V’s on the owners' feet. Your tickets for no parking can be used in the back entrance. Hand your ticket to the workers who are not valets and they will move your car in and out of the Mattel sized lot throughout the day. One or two of them most likely will not own a driver's license and they will for sure crash your car. If you migrate in this section you can watch the revolving door of employees walk in, do a U-turn, and walk out. Either people quit or they are fired and then substituted with more inexperienced replacements before you can blink an eye. You don’t need a degree, common sense, or logic to get a job here. If you already have those characteristics, they will be unused in this environment. Some people lasted a whole 5 days before they left because they could see the disorganized chaos and true neon writings on the wall. Your common sense line of thinking will be washed away by idiotic selfishness, conceit, and large heaps of napoleon complexities. You too can watch inexperienced people make more than you while doing less work because they either screwed someone that works there or are friends with an employee. Experience means nothing. Where else can you find owners that only care about products being sold rather than the safety of its’ employees? They force their workers to physically show up to work during a pandemic because working from home is somehow unfathomable. You may see the US Marshall visit multiple times. Just be sure to put your mask on when they arrive and then immediately remove it after they leave as almost all the employees do. Don’t worry if you feel uncomfortable about working in an environment as such. Rest assured the powers that be will accuse you of being negative and a hindrance to the company. Their answer to staying 6ft apart is to hire more people and have them sit practically on top of each other. It’s pretty much a guarantee your time here will be short like most that have come and gone. Respect and compassion are devoid of this environment. You will see the signs on your very first day without anyone saying a word. Don’t forget your complimentary blame game on your way out. Learn from the best on how to point fingers and throw people under buses, trucks, and trains. Take care folks and watch your back, sides, and front.

Pros

I learned about how to collaborate with a team, prepare for current and future promotions through email marketing, sales planning, forecasting and budgeting. product launches as well as learned to lead all agency meetings by the time I left. Although I might have learned a lot for my own career and future opportunities, the work culture and terrible management showed me what I never want to be apart of ever again. There was so much disrespect from managers towards their lower ranking members of team. It really saddens me to say this because I really loved my team so much. The CMO for Aroma360 -Nadira, was by far the most insulting and disrespectful individual I have ever had as a manager or anyone for that matter. From false promises of salary or "bonus" just for you to work harder - knowing the promises were false. Insulting and cussing in my face then requesting I "change my face" after the fact. In terms of managment there was never an opportunity to take initiative on any decision making. Nothing could get done without asking her ,but if you asked then she would yell at you for asking. A revolving circle or disrespect and toxicity where I could no longer mover my career forward in.

Cons

This management is a complete disaster. The worst part is that people are numb to the disrespect - however, I wouldn't stand for it any longer and decided to leave. On top of the fact that there was zero work life balance. Constantly working till midnight , being texted by the rude CMO in the late evenings and even on the weekends . Was promised a promotion and a salary that never happened . I can keep going and going .... terrible experience . Don't recommend and happy this platform exists to warn others before they waste their time and efforts. By far the most rude and unprofessional manager I have ever worked for.

Pros

Truly, there's no benefit from working here. You're not a human, you're a number on the leaderboard. You will be under immense pressure to produce results, despite the random nature of the job itself. Training is a hollow procedure that tries to fit square pegs into sphere holds. However, if you manage to meet the unrealistic quota, you will be able to get away with murder — all company policies are thrown out the window and you have now earned your "spot" at the table. If you underperform, you will be swept under the rug & the new President & Co. will slyly deal with you. Be prepared to see how upper management will blatantly lie in email threads with other C-Level executives in order to keep the mirage alive that every sales agent meets their quota. The stress is not worth it.

Cons

See above. Don't let yourself be fooled in any regard, they will exercise their ability to lay you off at-will swiftly. If you decide to take the offer despite all signs, be prepared for your whole life to be inundated by Aroma. Also, Customer Service does not exist unless you're a "VIP" customer. AKA, if you agree to finance the oils.
