Pros

I recently joined Artsy and have had a genuinely positive experience so far. The onboarding process was smooth, thoughtful, and well-structured, helping me feel supported from day one. The team is incredibly welcoming, collaborative, and mission-driven! There’s a strong sense of purpose around connecting people with art, and that passion shows in the day-to-day work culture.

Cons

Nothing major so far. Like any fast-paced company, there’s a lot happening at once, so it can take time to fully ramp up and navigate the tools and processes!

Pros

Working at Artsy has been an incredible experience, and a big part of that comes down to the amazing people here. The team is full of talented, creative individuals who genuinely care about their work and each other. There’s a strong culture of cross-functional collaboration, where teams work closely together and support one another. Leadership is both inspiring and approachable, creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued. The company’s culture and values are not just words—they’re truly embedded in the way things are done. Plus, there are real opportunities for growth, with well-structured performance reviews and feedback that help you develop in your role. The flexibility of hybrid work and the great perks only add to the experience, making Artsy a genuinely great place to work.

Cons

Of course, like any company, there are areas that could be improved. Currently, there’s only one researcher, which means designers often have to take on that responsibility, stretching their workload. Similarly, the absence of a dedicated UX writer or content designer means designers also have to fill that gap. There are some resourcing mismatches between design, product, and engineering, which can sometimes make collaboration tricky. And while the ways of working are evolving, there’s still room to mature processes further to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. That being said, none of these challenges feel insurmountable, and the positive, supportive environment at Artsy makes it a great place to grow, contribute, and make an impact.
