Pros

Very little besides it being remote which can be the case with any such site if you are working through them.

Cons

For one, they have neglected to add a dark mode feature for iOS which I had been asking for since April 2024, when they forced the update announcement in your face upon opening app. Appears it was only for Android users. Now, I have had several issues with them including ignoring questions in the support chat and only doing the very minimum to respond to your request. They don’t care. They are very quick to deactivate accounts and reluctant to reactivate them, but yet don’t deal with or take any concern from their astrologers seriously. My funds that weren’t received are not showing as having carried over to subsequent month, and instead I’ve been left waiting on the assumption it’s a ‘technical error’, when before this they were certain I’d received the pay already until I showed them I definitely had not. They do not care about your experience at all, especially if you’re not one of their top earners. They expect you to inform them if you decide to work with another agency. If I stay with them and also decide to earn extra from another site, they can wish for my honesty but they won’t receive it; they don’t deserve even this. Will only continue to use them for as long as it is worthwhile.

Pros

Didn't find any pros yet.

Cons

I recently had a very disheartening experience with Astrotalk during their hiring process, which compelled me to share my thoughts and caution others about their unprofessional practices. I would strongly advise potential candidates to be wary and consider alternative options before investing time and effort in pursuing opportunities with this company. After applying for a position that matched my skill set, I was contacted by the HR department for an initial screening call. The conversation started off well with some general questions, but it quickly became apparent that their intentions were questionable. The HR representative presented me with a puzzle question, which I answered to the best of my abilities. Following the call, I was assigned an assignment that required expertise in Spring Boot, a skill specifically mentioned in the job posting. I diligently completed the assignment within the given time frame and submitted the source files as instructed via email. However, shortly after submission, I received a call from the HR representative requesting that I push the code to GitHub. While this request may seem normal in some circumstances, I found it highly suspicious and unprofessional. It raised concerns about the company's intentions and their treatment of candidates. Nevertheless, I complied with the request and pushed the code to GitHub as requested. To my dismay, I received an email not long after, stating that the company had decided to hire another candidate whose skill set apparently aligned better with their requirements. This left me feeling used and exploited. What added insult to injury was discovering similar experiences shared by others on Glassdoor, where it seems this company has a reputation for taking advantage of candidates to obtain free work. The actions of Astrotalk are deeply unethical and demonstrate a lack of respect for candidates' time, effort, and expertise. Their behavior undermines the integrity of the hiring process and raises serious questions about their professional ethics and values as an organization. I feel it is crucial to bring attention to such unprofessional practices so that other job seekers can make informed decisions. I strongly advise candidates to exercise caution when considering opportunities with Astrotalk, as it appears they may be using the hiring process as a means to exploit candidates for free work. Please think twice before investing your time, skills, and energy in pursuing employment with Astrotalk. Explore other options that value and respect your talents, professionalism, and aspirations.

Pros

What positive is there when it has the worst management.

Cons

Unprofessional management. Abrupt deactivation of profile without prior notice and severe lack of communication.
