Pros

Chennai-based for those who prefer to be in the south

Cons

this is the first and only job for most of the 16-17 employees including the directors, except for few fringe internships.....most of them have no idea how other companies are ....so conveniently, the management is their own judge and jury. plagiarize ideas from past employees, present it as their own and make money out of it.... financial strength - check for yourselves before joining: if you are making that mistake people in the top management just come and leave ....two directors two associate directors besides 6-7 talented and smart employees left within a span of 6 months recently - in short those who contributed the most have left (almost all in bitter taste) absolutely no one with relevant experience of 10-12 years or high qualification or professional credibility to learn from..... potential joiners: do not be deceived by the laundry list of advisers from nook and corner of the world.....have hardly seen or interacted with even one of them in more than couple of years people come and leave left right...don't be misguided by "selectively hired" - except for sycophants people cannot stick in that environment

Leaders in empty bubble

Pros

CV builder. On CV project and client names look great (in reality - ???) New age office - (Ancient attitude) Easy working culture - (the firm can get you complacent about your own career) Flexibility - call it think tank, research, consulting, development, NGO - what ever you like and there is a phase when the firm thought it was one

Cons

Where do we start? - Lack of depth in any work - Infrastructure at the firm is very bad - Data Science is a misnomer - Inexperience leadership not adept at entrepreneurship. Zero business instinct and zero interest in building skills. Same place as when 5 years back - The day luck factor vanishes, firm will be doomed. Every time there is a challenge, some project saves the day. purely coincidence - no strategy - Off late leaders have in their circle experienced people who have surprisingly no sense of building teams
