Pros

- Excellent coworkers, most if not all are passionate - Great with with trainings and keeping up with industry standards

Cons

- Management will not hide things from you, but also won't tell you about things that impact your position until it's too late - Wording in the employee handbook (especially in regards to raises and disciplinary actions) is just vague enough to apply to everything and nothing at the same time

Pros

You get reimbursed .54 cents a mile.

Cons

They promise you flexibility, but really there is zero. The job description does not match the realities of the job. As a case manager you spend your works days driving kids around and moonlighting as basically their parent. You get ridiculously far behind on paperwork due to spending the day traveling. You're expected to do a lot of work in 40 hours. You will work more than 40, but they want you to no clock it in. You also are not legally protected when conducting your job. You will be expected to work around 10-12 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will get very minimal support from your supervisors. Those above supervisors seem to not care at all about front line staff. Auberle goes through a repetitve staffing crisis, that case managers bear the burdens of.

Pros

You can pretty much make your schedule and can work from home if you do not have any visits or court hearings.

Cons

No work-personal life boundaries. There's no over time even if you're on-call (which is mandatory) even on-call you have to flex you time during another part of the week so you do not go over 40 hours. You are expected to respond to emails and answer your phone even on your day off. The works load and the pay wage don't match at all. There's no accountability. You can do your job perfectly and someone else can not do their job at all and reap the same benefits and bonuses.
