I started working at Autel Robotics in 2018, and it really was a great place with a lot of potential; until management came in and destroyed the place. Things got ugly, fast. I’ve watched people get fired (seemingly at random half the time) on a shockingly regular basis, including those who have been there since the beginning(spoiler: there’s none left). Gender pay gap, nepotism, sexism, blatant racism, hostility from idiot company CEO/co-pres, China team has zero respect for the American office, the list goes on and on. This company was placed into the hands of the horrible CEO’s 20-something spoiled brat of a son and together they’re sinking the metaphorical ship.

Upper management is completely inattentive to both their employees and the customers. Misinformation is given to both parties as well which leads to distrust in the company at all levels. No true direction, except for that spouted by the owner’s son, who changes his mind on a whim and makes flash decisions without assessing the repercussions. While the marketing team was a safe place to be, and was paid fairly, other’s where absolutely not, overworked and underpaid, promised promotions for more work, when none would ever come to fruition. There’s no stability in this company. Would not recommend working here if you can avoid it.
