Pros

Some of good people in the team, this number is decreasing...

Cons

Where do I start? First of all, if you are thinking of joining their team, ignore positive comments on Glassdoor. These are fake. Whilst with AvePoint, the management on many occasions told us to put positive feedback on here. They are petrified with the amount of negatives comments they have here. Reading all these amazing reviews makes me laugh but i feel obliged to warn genuine people. Huge staff turnover. So, some specifics. Training? Zero. You getting a computer with and internet access, company website and seriously outdated "university" Progression? Of course but only if you have no personality and you are ready to kiss backsides of middle management. That's how low management got their job there - socializing and laughing at the jokes of the chosen few. They are all very young, inexperienced people who not only have no relevant business experience but are also lacking basic interpersonal skills. But you know what, I won't waste your time with the details. What's important is this: if you are a true professional with strong values and respect for your skills and time - don't waste your time, move on to another opportunity. Don't get sucked in by empty promises and vision of an amazing company. The reality is completely different.

Pros

has a pingpong table mediocre benefits package central office location "1 day a week flexiwork" but generally frowned upon really good support staff network - some staff are based in asia and is handy for having demo environment ready set up over night in your sleep

Cons

career progression generally dished out by flavour of the month & popularity/closeness to CEO on personal level Some estaff have also been with the company for a lot of years, gradually handed bigger & bigger job titles as they get moved from role to role, masked as 'finding their true calling' when in reality just not very good at whatever they were doing; but picks up a bigger paycheck each time it happens. There's only so many SVPs & VPs you can have in a company. About a year or two ago, Avepoint also noticed their glassdoor score was quite poor. So there was a c-level drive to actively encouraged employees to say nice things about the company without putting 'pingpong table' as a pro. They proudly presented this as part of the exec updates. Also - if you're looking for a company to stay loyal to, and resonates with any personal values, don't expect to find any here.Very profit driven and will play dirty if they need to win They also say they facilitate a culture of learning - really they don't want to hear it.

Pros

Great technology, some great people but most have now gone. The product sells itself - which is a good job as the people are useless.

Cons

Where does one start??? This company is literally the worst place I have ever worked. The staff turn over is HUGE (even if you are succeeding) - IGNORE GLASSDOOR Reviews all staff have been asked to write good reviews to help increase the glass door score.
