Pros

- Genuine culture of honest, accountable, friendly, supportive and motivated people - Everyone is here to help and share their knowledge with you - Very approachable Senior Leadership Team who actually do listen to you no matter your position - A flexible culture, not a rigid 9 to 5 office - Many people are based remotely and they make true efforts to help remote employees feel included at every level - A charismatic CEO who is super nice - There is many more pros but I would be sat here typing for a long time

Cons

This may sound unbelievable but to me there is no cons. I like the stage the company is at, there is still a lot to build which mean I can be part of this. If you want a place that is already set in its ways and more "corporate" then maybe you could see raison as a con. Aware is at an exciting time of it's history and I am so happy to be part of it. I cannot imagine ever wanting to leave Aware!

Pros

Worked with true professionals, where everyone was generally willing to help achieve a common goal. Very few of these professionals are left after 60% reduction in headcount in August 2023. GTM teams including Marketing, Sales, and Channel/Partnerships are virtually non existent.

Cons

Continuous gaslighting of having minimal competitors and the best software capabilities, but lose in bake offs against competitors. Have hired over 6 GTM leaders in a span of 3 years only to part ways in less than 6 months, while legacy executive team stays mainly untouched. Company needs a massive reconstruction otherwise there is minimal opportunities of growing the business, and will be sold for parts.

Lost Identity, in Disarray

Pros

Likable people and leadership, transparency of business, daily lunch provided, work-from-home stipend, healthcare premiums fully paid, biweekly company meetings, cool product for measuring changes to employee sentiment, generous equity investment

Cons

Inexperienced leadership, they don’t know who their customers should be, they change their minds at a moment’s notice, they’ve fired and hired heads of sales twice in 6 months, they want everyone involved in every decision so it slows down everything, they can’t make a decision and then stay with it, how they hire employees and particularly executives is broken. They are lost as an organization.
