Just don't work here

Pros

Company paid steel toe shoes, sometimes you get free lunches

Cons

Low pay, lazy coworkers, racially biased management, no career progression, no communication, no work/life balance, not giving enough notice for overtime, threatens with mandatory overtime if specific people doesn't do volunteer overtime, always told that you don't ever do anything and then when something gets messed up you are to blame, management loves making false promises and loves to make demands. Just don't work here, you're better off working elsewhere. But if you want to work Mon-Sat, 10 hours/day, and want to be treated like crap, then go for it. Starting pay is something like $23/hr

Outstanding team. Great products. Very open communication with leadership

Cons

Can’t think of any. I guess I’d always like more pay, but isn’t that everywhere.

Pros

Long history (under DuPont) and consistent customer base

Cons

Severe lack of leadership only 5 years post-spinoff, not only in headcount but in ability to set strategy and make decisions. Lack of attention to workforce causing epidemic of negativity. Current focus on "strategic options" causing employees to feel uncomfortable about their futures. Coupled with lack of employee engagement and communication leading to slowed productivity and showing lack of value and oversight by management.

Pros

-Got a 10% bonus. Bonus can be more if company does well. -Compensation package was decent. -Decent opportunity for growth. -Some of the HR staff are helpful and easy to work with.

Cons

-Communication is not consistent between departments. I found myself answering the same questions multiple times to the same people. Projects across teams can be disorganized and disjointed. -Unless you're working in the corporate headquarters, be prepared to be in an environment where you may be exposed to harsh chemicals. -Corporate is hesitant to improve sites. The location I worked in was incredibly tight on warehouse space. Even with a record production year and us producing 40% of the company's total product, corporate still refused to expand space to help increase safety and production space. -Current plant manager makes is not viewed favorably among many of the employees due to lack of accountability. At one point he threatened to cut people's vacation time in order to push something through last minute.
