      Pros

      Wonderful company, great community with planned group activities and encouraged time off. Loved the scientific discussion and the down to earth feel of the people. On the science side - loved the work and exploring Amino Acid therapeutic opportunities in complex metabolic diseases.

      Cons

      - Company could no longer support work force and laid off 85% of employees - The fast paced work and lack of experimental knowledge from management led to many people in the lab setting burning out

      Pros

      A very nice abd ethically managed company. The CEO is very down to earth and quality-minded. The investigational products are promising and take advantage of the company's strong metabolomics experience. Axcella has a very pleasant and collaborative work culture and the leadership is committed to maintaining that culture.

      Still in the pre-commercial stage.
