Pros

Some teams have good standard for code quality and if you want you can learn quite a bit in coding and design practice. Most people are friendly and approachable. There are knowledgable guys always ready to answer your question.

Cons

Limited tech stacks. Majority of the work is in core spring and Java in a monolithic setup, so don’t expect gaining much knowledge in Springboot, let alone multithreading, microservices, or many other modern skills. As expected in insurance industry, innovation is not sought after. How your working experience would be largely depends on which team you’re assigned to. Personally I feel a few executive level guys don’t have sincere respects for their employees and don’t bother about fostering a good company culture.

Bad Company

Pros

Worst company. No one should join. One person is always watching you when you are coming and when you are going.

Cons

Worst company. No one should join. One person is always watching you when you are coming and when you are going. And also a lot of politics. Some former employees think that this company is their ancestor's company . Also at one day they will appreciate you and one the other day they will raise their fingers on your performance.
